As well as providing a safe and friendly environment for Central Coast beachgoers, another facet of Soldiers Beach Surf Club is participation in a wide range of Surf Sports. Many of the surf lifesavers at Soldiers Beach enter regular competitions and surf carnivals on various levels from club and regional competitions through to state, national and even international titles.
As part of competing, members aged eight and up can enter surf carnivals, with the sporting events developed from core lifesaving skills and techniques that combine friendly and sportmanlike competing with the chance to hone skills and fitness.
